FROM STAR TO DRUGS.

Olympic star Michael Phelps. HA. The idol of many swimmer or sportsman wanna-bes, 8 gold medals two mistakes.

First there was the drink driving. Then after your glory of 8 gold medals in the Beijing Olympics, we see a picture of you taking marijuana. NICE....

In an interview he said, "I engaged in behaviour which was regrettable and demostrated bad judgement," In another statement through one of his agents, "I'm 23 years old and despite the successes i've had in the pool, i acted in a youthful and inappropriate way, not in a manner people have come to expect from me. For this, I am sorry. I promise my fans and the public it will not happen again."

HEY! U said something like that once...lemme think. OH YA. The last time when u got caught for drink driving....

DUDE.. i still remember how i was like during the olympics. it during exams and all i could think about was, "i've got to get home to watch Michael Phelps swim." You're like a dolphin or something in the water..

considering if the whole entire youth population was like me during the olympics, wanting to see Michael Phelps, cheering him on...8 GOLD MEDALS...the whole entire world watching...and here we have drugs... WOW... kids who see the picture of you taking marijuana would just be soo dissapointed... and is he telling everyone that its ok to take marijuana?CHOICES HAVE CONSEQUENCES. why didn't you think about the whole world watching when u took marijuana?!

For all Michael Phelps fans that think i'm just writing about him too harshly, i'm just taking him on a guilt trip(considering if he reads this). He's 23 years old. that's ADULT on your identification. he's not juvenile anymore. granted he not an adult yet in the phycological point of view, but ADULT. YOUTHFUL DOES NOT COVER IT.

I'm just disappointed and sad man...the only swimmer i watched in the olympics and i always thought that he was and is and will be a good role model for all youths out there.

it's just sad...
